Manager Operations (Fiber Optic & Telecommunications)

🎯 Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned, strategic, and results-oriented General Manager of Operations to lead and manage all operational aspects—both technical and non-technical—of our Fiber Optic network infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with deep expertise in telecommunications infrastructure, network deployment, maintenance, and managing large teams effectively.

đź“ť Key Duties and Responsibilities
A. Network Operations & Infrastructure

  1. Lead and oversee all daily operational activities, including FTTH/FTTX network deployment, troubleshooting, and planned/unplanned maintenance.
  2. Ensure that Quality of Service (QoS) and Network Service Level Agreements (SLA) meet or exceed company targets.
  3. Manage and optimize the Network Operations Center (NOC) and the field technical teams.
  4. Drive efficiency and scalability in all operational processes through continuous improvement.

B. Strategy & Business Management

  1. Formulate and implement short-term and long-term operational strategies to align with the company's business objectives.
  2. Efficiently manage operational budget (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX), and hold accountability for the operational P&L (Profit and Loss).
  3. Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure network readiness supports customer growth and expansion plans.

C. Leadership & Human Resources

  1. Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of Managers and Staff within the Operations department.
  2. Foster a high-performance culture that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and accountability.
  3. Manage key relationships with external vendors, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders.

âś… Qualifications and Requirements

Education & Experience

  1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Informatics, or a closely related technical field.
  2. A minimum of 8 years of working experience in the telecommunications or ISP industry, with at least 3-5 years in a senior managerial role (Manager Operational, Head of Operations, or Manajerial level).
  3. Mandatory deep expertise in the deployment, operations, and management of Fiber Optic (FTTH/GPON) networks.

Technical & Managerial Skills

  1. Profound understanding of network architecture, including Metro Ethernet, MPLS, DWDM, and transmission systems.
  2. Proficiency in project management (PMP or similar certification is a plus) and familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies in operations.
  3. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-pressure or critical situations.
  4. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills in both English and [Local Language, e.g., Bahasa Indonesia] (both active and passive).
